Siam celebrates Year of the Dragon

🇹🇭 Over the weekend we celebrated Chinese New Year here in Bangkok. There were plenty of tourists around and everybody seemed to be making some effort to be wearing red.

As expected, straight after CNY everything switched into Valentine's Day mode. Overnight all the malls did a quick switch of their decoration. Only in Asia!

This week I also took advantage of being here to get a small surgical procedure done. Nothing life threatening but it certainly seems better to get this done and dealt with while we are settled here with excellent medical facilities rather than hoping it would not become necessary in the coming months while travelling in UK and Europe where the services are nothing like we have here.

I don't think anyone would want surgery but if you need it Bumrungrad here in Bangkok must be one of the best places in the world to have it. Last week I was able to get consultation the day after I called and all tests were done that day with results, recommendations and options explained. Surgery could have been done last week but I chose to postpone it till this week due to prior commitments and to have bit more time to think and do my own research.

On the day, limousine picked me up and the checkin was smooth. The room was perfect, on the top floor and V could have stayed with me overnight if needed. The operation went smoothly and I got a good night of sleep. After breakfast in the morning V arrived and we had limousine to take us back home. Thanks to all the staff at the hospital - they were amazing.

So for the coming couple of weeks I am taking things easy - I'll be getting more hands on with the projects and doing a bit less bicycle rides. I will also be reading more so I am looking forward to your recommendations.

Another advantage of all of this is that V and I got to have our Valentine's Day dinner on Monday evening - ahead of the rush!

News of the week

Some people were curious at last week's focus on Common Law and the importance of Law. It really is a foundation of modern society and it ought to be used properly. Below are a few examples where laws need to be properly understood and respected. I expect this will become clearer and more important as we go forward as more and more people see and understand it.

Crotty Judgement

First up is a nice surprise from Ireland. You may or may not recall the Crotty judgement. This refers to a 1987 ruling by the Supreme Court of Ireland that established the precedent that any amendments to the Irish constitution relating to national sovereignty must be put to a referendum. Some key details:

Raymond Crotty brought a legal challenge against the ratification of the Single European Act by the Irish government in 1986 without holding a referendum.
In April 1987, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled. It found that the Single European Act amended substantial parts of the Irish constitution relating to sovereignty, and as such required approval of the Irish people through a referendum.
The Crotty judgement established that any future treaties or amendments that substantially affect areas covered by the Irish constitution, such as national sovereignty, must be approved by citizens in a referendum.
You likely do recall that it resulted in Ireland having to hold referendums for every major EU treaty since, including the Maastricht Treaty, Treaty of Nice, Treaty of Lisbon and others. Nobody has authority to commit for Ireland on such topics without a referendum.

Meanwhile, in the UK

When you look carefully, the membership of UK in WHO may well be illegal! The devil is certainly in the detail but these details cannot be ignored - that's the Law. There are now plenty of highly motivated citizen investigators gathering evidence and seeking to require the law to be properly respected.

Knowing this you will understand clearly that the UK Government Response on this petition is totally unacceptable. It absolutely needs to be debated and clarified. Take 2 minutes and sign this petition to the UK Parliament and add your support - this really is the least that you can do.

Revelation of the week

This next one will likely surprise and horrify you. Even I was surprised by some of the facts that Jacqui cites, however she gives all supporting evidence and this is corroborated with hundreds of in-person interviews as well as thousands of testimonies from correspondents on her twitter feed.

It is time to recognise the crimes against humanity and to prosecute and hold accountable all who committed and supported these crimes.

The NHS is not your friend - rather murderer of your loved ones

Jacqui Deevoy has consistently been warning members of the public about the UK Government democide agenda via audio, video analysis and interviews, and she has produced a key video documentary, A Good Death, which has had a profound impact on those that have watched it. She is working full-time to engage with, and speak out for, the grieving relatives of those who have been ‘euthanised’ in the National Health Service’s ‘End of Life Care Pathway’.

Jacqui calmly explains the evidence for democide in the UK, much of which is hidden in plain sight, and she explains the complicity of the Government and its agencies—including the NHS—and of those who wrongly behave as its agencies, including courts and the police. Significantly, parliamentarians and the British legacy media are also complicit by their silence.

You can read the archived version of NHS Guideline NG163 here. Note too her comment about the change to the superseding guideline NG191 removing the known dangerous (deadly) medications. This was done on the day following her investigative phone calls to the office of Matt Hancock on this very topic.

Exposure is the key to stopping this horror, and we need to follow Jacqui Deevoy’s powerful lead by breaking our silence. It has not happened everywhere in UK but there is strong evidence of this being widespread. The crimes must be prosecuted.

🛠️ Project Updates

My project work has been a bit interrupted this week - as you can understand. Even so I did get to read, study and test some very interesting developments. I will be sharing more on these and others in the coming weeks.

This is a fascinating example of how multiple open source projects can collaborate together and build on the foundation that we have now with Lightning and Nostr. It is really coming together.

Integrating Liquid too

It is great to see Liquid (L-BTC) now being available and integrated with Alby. Alby is a great browser extension that simplifies key management and provides a simple way to send and receive small amounts of bitcoin.

Anser takes this even further, it is a free and open-source client-side web app that uses the Alby extension's Liquid integration to provide a simple interface to the Liquid Network. As we discussed last week, Liquid Federation is one of the important scaling mechanisms for Bitcoin in addition to Fedimint and Cashu with others in development.

Head Greenlight engineer and Core Lightning developer Christian Decker discusses the latest projects highlighting layer-2 interoperability between the Liquid and Lightning networks. He also touches on what a Lightning Network would look like on Liquid (LoL / Lightning over Liquid), its benefits, and how seamless and compatible it would be with Lightning over Bitcoin.

Enabling global adoption

I highly recommend listening to this interview of Samson by Robert. Samson is the chief advocate pushing for nation-state adoption of bitcoin. They have recently released their Aqua wallet (discussed back in Newsletter #98). Listen as Samson explains how this can be a catalyst for widespread adoption - integrating Bitcoin, Liquid, Lightning and USDT natively on Liquid - with all of the benefits of low fees, confidential transactions and rapid development turnaround.

I am very much a fan of developing scaling technology for Bitcoin at Layer-2 and above. The focus for Bitcoin Core should be on privacy enhancement.

There is now a proliferation of clients to choose from and they can all work in parallel together using your Nostr private key safely stored in Alby or one of the other key management solutions that are also arriving.

TLDR: There is one big global casino and all the banks are all gambling with your money and they have all run out. This is the biggest Ponzi scheme ever. The Empire is doing everything possible (also illegally) to keep the global population inside the Ponzi - this is why you have all the KYC nonsense and why withdrawals from your account are questioned, delayed or blocked and why they do not want you to have cash or own any hard asset.

James gives you a data-driven explainer for what is happening and you will see now why you have all the wars and distractions going on - also why the governments are all overstepping all proper and reasonable bounds. He also points to what you can do about it if you do not want to participate in their evil nonsense and want to exit the Ponzi.

As we discussed last week, my personal view is that everyone should have and hold some bitcoin. Zero is not the right amount but considering what will happen you likely do not need so much and it is currently still easy to acquire and hold and cheap compared to what it will be. Remember that you do want to hold the bitcoin yourself; you do not want it to be held by any company or you will end up in the same situation as MTGOX, Celsius and FTX holders - held hostage for years by lawyers draining the remaining funds from bankruptcy.

Likely now you understand why I and others are working hard on Layer-2 solutions that bring massively more scalability and also transaction privacy to bitcoin. What are you doing?

Given all the propaganda and lies that you know you are fed daily by mainstream media and their puppets that are all over social media, you really ought to listen to the other side of the story. You know that your media and your politicians are corrupt beyond words - surely you owe it to your self to take a moment and think?

In that vein George demands better from American politicians - but the same applies to all politicians. You should also listen to his arguments, citing parallels to what happened all through the Covid crimes. Mainstream media is lying to you. Whichever political leader is senile, it is not Putin.
