115 - Early May, family visit
🇪🇸 We are back again in Palma after our weekend away and we had a few days to get back into our rhythm here on the island before our next adventure. On Sunday V's brother came down to see us and will be staying for a bit so that he too can enjoy Mallorca. We will be doing a few outings around the island together.
Monday was a gentle start to the week. We have some good bikes here so we did a nice ride along the waterfront and Playa de Palma for snack lunch at a friendly cafe. From there we went a bit further past the Aquarium, deep into German territory, planning another trip for the coming weeks. There is no shortage of cycle tracks here so I expect to be out and about more on the bikes.
Tuesday was more adventurous with a trip down memory lane back to Santa Ponsa (holiday destination of 50 years ago for V and her brother). We had a great day out on a Catamaran. You might recall our last visit here:

Wednesday we started the day with Tai Chi, as usual and then swimming in the afternoon. Thursday was bike riding and Friday we were checking out the sights around Palma. Lots more planned around the island for the coming days.
Feedback on the Falsification of History
I got quite some feedback on my book recommendation of last week - thanks to all who reached out with comment and to discuss! All of it was positive with people thanking me for recommending it and most people enormously surprised by what they were finding. John has done a tremendous service to humanity by writing this so clearly and whilst there are a couple of points where I do not agree with his conclusions he has more than 95% of it correct and you really ought to pay attention.
If you have not yet got your copy or read the book I do urge you to do so. There are things in there that will certainly surprise you and make clear why many things are now happening the way they are.
One area where he is absolutely correct is that of False Flags and other spectacles/rituals that governments have done to mislead and suppress their citizens. They continue to do these and, of course, such things now need to become ever more awful to have their "desired" impact. When in doubt, recall the 1967 US Government Report from Iron Mountain that concluded that "war, or a credible substitute for war, is necessary if governments are to maintain power".
With your eyes now open you might also want to (re)read Albert Pike's letter of 15 August 1871:
Once seen, this cannot be unseen. Once awake you can see through the veil. You are better than this - do not give it any of your energy. Rise above it and live free. In the coming weeks I will be sharing things, not to scare or worry you but to help you to see and for you to help others to see. The better informed you are, the better you can be prepared.

This is by Lyn Alden (recall her paper of last week and book review). It has got to be the clearest and best explanation that you will find - if you know better, let me know! All Ponzi schemes come to a bad end and this one is no different.

The following are updates from some projects that I am using, following, supporting and collaborating with. What are you doing?
GrapheneOS: de-googling!
You will be well aware of my distrust of both Google and Apple. Neither of them can be trusted to preserve your privacy - in fact they both invade your privacy and restrict your freedom, albeit in different ways - it is a bit: "pick your poison".
For a long time I have used CalyxOS as my alternative of choice for Google's massively invasive Android operating system. Anyway I had run into a few compatibility problems recently with CalyxOS on an older Pixel 4 phone (you do not need to have the latest phones, nor should you!) so I reckoned I had nothing to lose by trying GrapheneOS.
I had always resisted this mainly due to the toxicity of the lead developer who was infamous for the vitriol that he would spout on anyone he chose to dislike. Last year, however he did a well-publicised move away and the team there have done a big push to improve their reputation.
I have been up and running for the whole week and all of my apps work perfectly - no issues, even for banking apps that tend to be very picky. I do appreciate the lack of fuss in the interface and the Profiles are just GREAT!
You can see the how to do the installation here above - I used my Linux machine for this. Just follow the instructions using the Web Installer - all of the steps are important or you will likely have to factory reset and start again. This is a good post-install video. If you really want to go Full Monte on the privacy settings this video explains the options.

Citadel Dispatch
Matt Odell has been having a couple of banger weeks. His interviews with Nostr and Bitcoin/Lightning/eCash developers are required listening and they discuss ways that you can participate and support. I was unaware of all these details about LNBITS - it seems that there is a very strong builder community and they have a great foundation somewhat similar to Wordpress - may the force be with them!
And then this superb interview with Kieran - not only is he the developer of Snort but also of Zap dot stream. Listen and learn as they explore both platforms and the evolution that is both planned and under way and how you can support them.

A very conveniently timed Plandemic...
Occasionally, a paper presented at Jackson Hole turns out to be a blueprint for a tectonic shift by the Fed. That appears to be the case back in August 2023, which is the subject of this next video.
As a reminder: the last time a Jackson Hole paper gave rise to a major monetary shift was in 2019, when BlackRock presented a paper entitled, “Dealing with the Next Downturn.” As "luck" would have it, the titled downturn arrived the very next month in the form of a huge repo crisis that was shortly thereafter followed by Event 201 and the rollout of Plandemic!!!
Flash forward to the recently-adjourned Jackson Hole meeting (Aug 2023). There is one particular paper that, if implemented, would cause huge inflation and indeed piggyback on and turbo-charge the inflation that’s arisen from the Fed’s implementation of BlackRock’s 2019 paper.

Shenanigans underway
As Marty explains here - since the two recent interventions by BoJ have failed to achieve anything other than scaring the US Treasury, the Empire is now reverting to further underhand and secret channels to try to kick the can further and postpone the inevitable.

Enshittifitcation - avoid Passkeys at all costs
I for one have always been extremely distrustful of all the recent push around Passkeys - that have been inordinately pushed by "Big Tech". You likely have seen this when you log into your local social credit system and it offers to create a passkey - for your convenience, of course! DO NOT DO IT.
It seems that I was right to be sceptical and indeed these are a reliable way for the Empire to lock you into the system and it will effectively capture you more deeply. I am happy that, after initially welcoming this from a technical perspective, Steve Gibson has "wised up" to to reality of how the Empire has implemented it. EVIL.

You can read his notes below. Spoiler alert: passkeys will lock you into the Big Tech platforms and even increase the control that they exert over your data and what you can do. Avoid them at all costs - a good password manager with TOTP authentication is preferable and allows you to retain some better control.
🤔 Closing Thoughts
Again I have a selection of closing thoughts - at least one of which should resonate and/or make you think! First up is a most interesting analysis by Jon who gives pointers that you might want to follow. Then another great one from MLB: something completely new but, it seems not unconnected with his previous findings. Lastly something that you might have wondered about - no you are not going mad!
Not what they say?
The latest one from Jon Levi really ought to make you think. Yes his presentation style is somewhat unconventional but listen to what he says and look at the evidence that he presents - this is also corroborated by other sources who have visited these locations.
The latest one from MLB should have you thinking. These are all things that you know but have not connected before and quite a few of them are locations that you have either visited or could visit if you wanted to check them out.
He clearly has plans to share more insights along these lines and recall that he is forming an international team to find and highlight such things.
Mandela Effect
Lastly this week - you may or may not have heard of the Mandela Effect. There are so many of these that you really have to wonder. Here are some simple ones to get you started:
