125 - What an interesting week

125 - What an interesting week
Belfast this week

🇬🇧 After a few hectic weeks V and I finally got a bit of time to ourselves this week. We do have family commitments every day but we are also making time for ourselves and our routine of swimming, yoga, walking, reading and meeting friends. Project work is usually in the mornings although you need to be adaptable in case the sun comes out or else you will likely miss it for the day!

I was happy to finally get some time to work on my reading pile (first output/result below) and I have spent time to revisit and refresh my computer infrastructure here in N Ireland - recall that I have components globally distributed and some are here.

You will have noticed that "things are stepping up a gear or two" on the geopolitical front. I will have more to say on this next week as we head in to the Olympics. For now you can read below for some initial observations.

Book and documentary of the week

Like James, I also got a paper copy of this book. It's from 2011 and you may find it tricky to find a physical book (always best for things like this). We have discussed Larken's work before - he wrote and directed "The Jones Plantation" cartoon that we discussed back in Newsletter #77 - do go back and watch this if it is not fresh in your mind or if you have not seen it yet.

What you read in this book will, in all likelihood, go directly against what you have been taught by your parents and your teachers, what you have been told by the churches, the media and the government, and much of what you, your family and your friends have always believed. Nonetheless, it is the truth, as you will see if you allow yourself to consider the issue objectively. Not only is it the truth, it also may be the most important truth you will ever hear.

I hand over to James to give you a full walk-through - he does it better than I ever could - click to watch below.

You can obtain your own copy of the book from Amazon (try US and UK sites or your local site). I do recommend that you try to get a paper copy - Kindle copies are not guaranteed to remain accessible and unaltered; Amazon has been caught before removing content from people's Kindles - what a surprise (not) that they picked George Orwell's 1984 to demonstrate this capability.

The overt, visible chains of physical slavery have been removed by our modern world, replaced with a more covert version of control disguised as the freedom of choice. But how free are we really when the only choice is between two corrupt politicians, the usage of a monopolistic fiat currency, or the mandatory taxation imposed by the State? The truth is that we all live on the Jones Plantation.

The question is not whether Republicans or Democrats (read your local parties - eg Labour or Conservative, Unionist or Sinn Fein) control the government - rather whether the Government is controlled by the people.

Last weekend I was walking around Belfast. I was happy to meet up with the folks doing a vigil outside the city hall. They are certainly awake to the evil that is being perpetrated and they are doing their best to raise public awareness. We exchanged notes and sources; one interesting source they shared with me is the video below that I recommend you watch and share.

In 2020, G20 governments, under the cover of Covid19 and in collusion with the World Economic Forum’s Stakeholders, discretely and undemocratically enacted a global ten-year transition to an authoritarian political system, called Stakeholder Capitalism.

After propagating a Marxist idea that black and trans people are oppressed and indoctrinating us to fear climate change, the Stakeholders are mandating their pre-planned political system, which its criminal mastermind, Klaus Schwab, alleges is better for ‘people and planet’.

Fadi Lama - Money Powers, West collapsing as East rises

In not-unrelated vein I found this rather interesting interview of Fadi Lama (from Beirut) over on Geopolitics and Empire, done by Hrvoje. For sure this is recommended listening and you might also want to get hold of his book that is replete with many fully referenced and trustworthy sources.

More in this issue

  • Photo memories - Saturday in Belfast
  • Project Updates - Obsidian and Nostr this week
  • Plenty of useful links - don't say nobody told you!
  • Closing out - Shakespeare - how deep do you want to go?

🛠️ Project Updates

The following are updates from some projects that I am following, supporting and collaborating with. These are all part of the Parallel Systems that we need to build and use. What are you doing?

Obsidian - it is really great

Absolutely the best writing and note-taking app is Obsidian - we have discussed this before back in issue 11 with pointers to quite a few useful starter tutorials.   As I review and refresh my computing infrastructure I took time to take another look into some of the power-user tips and tricks that I might be missing.

A must-watch explainer if you use Obsidian

00:16 Avoiding Toxic Perfectionism, 2:23 My Testimony, 2:53 The Zettelkasten, 4:22 The Value of Being Slow, 5:12 Instant Feedback, 6:25 Perfect Idea Storage, 9:14 The Power to Remix Ideas, 10:22 Your Personal Writing Assistant, 14:00 Folder Setup + How to Tag, 20:34 Important Settings, 22:30 Note Template, 24:03 Creating a New Note, 24:58 Writing a Note (Start-to-Finish), 35:38 Ask Me Anything

Whilst I love his explanation there are a couple of points on which I disagree. Specifically: I would not use Windoze for anything, let alone sensitive data, nor would I store such things on OneDrive or Google cloud. It is very much better to use SyncThing keeping your data only on your own computers, synchronised peer-to-peer - we discussed how to do this back in Newsletter #75.

Nostr Server

You will likely recall that I run several cloud-hosted servers around the world. These provide me with many useful services - including the ability to run my own Nostr relay. I am currently experimenting to find what is the best relay software to run. This one is high on the list - will keep you posted!

Ditto: A Nostr Community Server
Ditto is a Nostr server for building resilient communities online. With Ditto, you can create your own social network that is decentralized, customizable, and free from ads and tracking. It has a built-in Nostr relay, a web UI, and it implements Mastodon’s REST API.

The real cost of inflation

By now you ought to be well aware that inflation is theft of your savings by the organised crime that is your own government using all of the tactics and techniques that you would expect from such criminals -including forceful coercion, threats of violence and even real violence.

What you might not have realised are some of the far reaching consequences of this crime and the lengths to which the government has gone over the last 50 years (and more) to hide this from their own populations, while at the same time debilitating them, rendering them docile and passive and making them more vulnerable to illness.

Matthew Lysiak does a great interview here with Saifedean and I recommend you listen to educate yourself and then share with others.

One last headline for the week

It would be remiss of me not to comment on what happened in Pennsylvania last weekend. Whilst the truth still seems to be elusive there is near universal agreement that the official story is obviously false and full of deception.

Whatever the truth is - you can be sure that it is not what the mainstream media tells you. That ought to be the first and main thing that wakes you up to what is happening - just like with 9/11 (Where did the towers go?). You must think critically and examine the evidence; to do otherwise is to sleepwalk into Covid24 or whatever is the next dystopia in The Polycrisis.

For now, let's consider the impact that this event has in the USA - Cui bono?

Peter's take is prescient and spot-on as usual

Read here Iain Davis' take on how the BBC discredited themselves yet again with their coverage of the event. What I fail to understand is that not only do people in the UK seem to trust the BBC, they even pay them with their license fee for the privilege of being fed propaganda - it reminds me of "Dinner with Andre"

Oh what a tangled web Spring weaves
The weird shooting of Donald Trump

Click above to read - this reminds me of Dinner with Andre

I will likely have more to say on this next week - there is plenty of dust still to settle here and the red flags and lies are everywhere you look. One remark that I will leave you with is that you must not allow events like this set you against others in your community - the evil seeks to divide and conquer - do not pick sides, do not participate. Recall the wisdom that we discussed back in Newsletter 16 after all those years of useless violence in Northern Ireland.

"The government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."
- Margaret Thatcher

🤔 Closing Thoughts

Closing out this week I have a veritable feast of fascinating discoveries for you that I have been following for the last couple of weeks. Something light and accessible to start with from MLB. For the main course begin with William Ramsey's fascinating interview and proceed onto those two items from Alan Green. For dessert there is a great three-way discussion that goes further than you have likely been before.

For starters...

Today MLB exposes the mainstream narrative for what it is, a lie. We also find something massive, a pattern and an admission of what is going on with the cornerstones in all of these Old World structures. Something that we have suggested, but once again, we are correct. We also go through and investigate Portland, Maine ... and so much more!

And the main course...

William does a great interview with Robert Frederick. In this one interview he summarises the key findings from years of research that are described in his podcast series "The hidden life is best". You will certainly have heard of William Shakespeare but what you likely did not know is there are no documents ever found in his own handwriting, only six signatures none of which match, he was born in a farming family and he never went to school. Long-story-short he is most likely a pseudonym for one or more people. Listen and learn.

The Stratford Heist

Alan Green has done 19 years of research into the works of Shakespeare (whoever he/she/they may be). One of the more surprising finds is that much of those works contain hidden messages - hidden in code. This first short video tells you the highlights and where the treasure seems to be hidden (and blocked from access - or has it already been removed?).

How deep does it go?

This second video goes into the details of how the decoding was done. You have got to be impressed. Whoever put all this together, it is certainly not the work of an uneducated farmer's son.

All of this does make me think of another similar case - that of Satoshi Nakamoto - WDYT?

And for dessert...

Closing out with a great dessert. Listen to this fascinating discussion between three ardent and well-informed researchers. They recognise up-front that indeed William Shakespeare is likely a pseudonym for one of more of: Francis Bacon, Edward De Vere and John Dee; there may yet be additional characters involved.

This captivating episode delves into the hidden secrets of the Freemasons intertwined with Cleopatra's Needle, shedding light on the mysterious inspirations behind Shakespeare's timeless works. Alan discloses his discovery of encryptions within the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution's preamble.

Prepare for a mind-expanding experience as they unravel Shakespeare's enigmatic identity and decode the veiled symbolism across languages. Together, they unveil covert codes concealed within Shakespeare's masterpieces, illuminating a deep understanding of the human experience and tapping into the depths of collective consciousness.
