181 - Unveiling aplenty

🇬🇧 We are nearing the end of our time here in Belfast. Looks like we will have nice weather for our last weekend here and we are planning a BBQ with friends.
The weather here this summer has been rather better than previous years. I have managed to get out and about most days and it's nice to walk along the river. You can head towards Belfast or up into the countryside - both options are good!
There is an ad-hoc Bitcoiner meetup at The Halt/Europa next Tuesday evening 7pm. There will be a visitor from El Salvador sharing news and experience from there. Should be rather interesting - come along if you are in town.
Apart from that, we have been busy with family commitments and meeting friends as well as checking logistics for upcoming locations. We are going to be in Belgium next so if you are there and want to meet, let me know!
Book of the week
This week I was looking for some fiction to read. Normally I will ask V for recommendations but this week I took Matt's suggestion - Daemon by Daniel Suarez. Written in 2006 it is amazingly prescient and it will make you wonder how he could have imagined all this back then - what were you doing in 2006?

Click for spoiler-free summary
What if a brilliant, reclusive video game designer died, but left behind a sophisticated, autonomous computer program—a daemon—designed to continue his work from beyond the grave?
The daemon begins recruiting followers from the fringes of society—hackers, gamers, and disillusioned outsiders—by offering them power, purpose, and a place in its new world order. It uses blackmail, financial incentives, and the appeal of its new "game" to build an army. These recruits become its eyes, ears, and hands in the physical world, using augmented reality interfaces and advanced automated technology and autonomous vehicles provided by the daemon.
I will say that the book has a few rather explicit scenes and you might ask yourself if this is really necessary but stand back and realise that this is just exposing how the system works. This is exactly how individuals, politicians and companies get captured and coerced into submission and compliance.
You will certainly be surprised the events in the closing chapters as you realise that much of what you believed during the book is really the opposite of what the truth rather obviously is when you get to the final chapter - just like in real life!. As this final chapter finishes, the subsequent book, Freedom, begins and you can be sure that I now have this on my reading list!
For those of you who are beginning to see what's going on - this week's newsletter gives you a wide range of so-called "fringe views" or "conspiracy theories". These are all things that the mainstream does not want you to know or talk about - this is precisely why you should know these things.
All Wars are Bankers' wars
Thanks to the folks at Swan who have shared this very informative extract from a super interview of Richard Werner by Tucker Carlson. I recommend that you do take time to listen to the full interview but start with the extract below.

The financial kill-chain is a 7-step process. You ought to recall our previous discussions on Confessions of an Economic Hitman where John Perkins described how this was applied throughout South America. Here below you will understand how this has been deployed on a much larger scale - including your own country.

You will understand how this was applied to Russia and then to Europe through and after WW1. This also independently corroborates Victoria's beehive presentation that we discussed a few weeks ago.

Click to understand how broken money and corrupt bankers destroy countries
The kill chain is a systematic assault on a nation’s economic sovereignty:
- Infiltration and Influence: Financialists embed themselves in a country’s leadership, posing as advisors or allies.
- Debt Entrapment: They push unsustainable loans, locking nations into repayment cycles.
- Asset Identification: Valuable resources—land, industries, tax bases and infrastructure—are targeted.
- Economic Destabilisation: Markets are manipulated to deepen crises.
- Debt-for-Asset Swaps: Assets are seized in exchange for debt relief.
- Extraction and Exploitation: Wealth is drained through profit extraction.
- Abandonment and Collapse: The nation is left broken, its riches gone.
TLDR: Don't get distracted by global events and media propaganda - the key changes are being implemented locally (by captured and coerced politicians and companies - recall Daemon) and it is there that you can make a difference. Do not hate those that they tell you to hate. Recall our previous discussions: Opt Out, build and use parallel systems - this is why we Bitcoin.
Son of the father
I was intrigued this week to find Jacob talking about his father's book. You will know that I am a fan of The Sovereign Individual.

Around Belfast this week
🛠️ Project Updates
I have a fascinating set of project updates this week. Firstly a radical rethink of how you organise your photos - and how you can build software! Next another testimonial of the power of AI and Vibe Coding. Lastly, Cashu is getting more and more mainstream with merchant support and integration into BTC Server. What are you doing?
Rethinking photo libraries and software development
What a fantastic idea! Ben has taken a problem that we will all recognise and found an interesting solution. What he does is he takes a collection of open source utilities and uses AI Vibe Coding to link them into a coherent application suite.

You will be amazed at what is possible. As this knowledge and skill becomes more widely spread you can expect all sorts of innovative solutions to be created that bypass the legacy Big Tech with its insidious lock-in.
Vibe coding - redefining software development
Bitkarrot is a developer from Asia that I follow. Click below to read her experience and how this totally transforms workflow and multiplies productivity.

But - pay attention to: The Crisis Nobody Talks About. What is your experience of using these tools?
Cashu goes more mainstream - BTCPay Server
Ecash or electronic cash is a digital form of money that works much like physical cash, but instead of using paper notes, we use tokens denominated in bitcoin.

Click for a great A-Z explainer with plenty of real-world examples
eCash and Cashu are:
- Anonymous: You walk into a store, you buy an item by handing over a $100 note to the seller. No information was exchanged, just cash for goods. Just the way you handed over the cash note, you do the same with eCash, but this time with tokens not cash notes.
- Instant: No other form of validation or speed is needed outside handing over the cash to the user. With eCash, a user only needs to validate the sender token, and once done it is swapped into the merchant's wallet.
- Self contained: Once the cash is handed over to the seller, they now have full ownership of the cash. Similarly, when tokens are sent using eCash, the recipient is in full ownership—no reversal, intermediaries, or account freezing.
For businesses this means fewer risks and dependencies, eliminates chargebacks, zero card or processing fee and no KYC on buyers.
How should investment really work
It should be clear to you by now that modern economics as it has been taught for the last 80 years or so is brainwashing into the endless debt-based Ponzi schemes that are the Fiat currencies. The truth has long been known (from biblical times through to the last two times that Americans killed their central bank) but the propaganda machine works overtime to erase and suppress all mention of how money and investment really should work. That is what Austrian Economics is all about.
Listen and learn as Adam explains in Episode 3 of this Escape the Matrix series.

This really is 20 minutes well spent. Then share it with a friend or two.

Talking sense
Michael Hudson is an interesting character and he has been talking sense for years. In this video, Michael analyses the fundamental reasons why Global South nations have struggled to develop in the postwar era. Hudson also offers profound insights into what the global economy could look like after the collapse of the dollar-based system, and how a new order might emerge.

Michael, for all his strengths, is a traditional economist and he has not yet come to terms with Bitcoin. If/when he does he will understand that the Bitcoin is the perfect foundation for the independent BRICS monetary system that he sees is needed. If you think about the practicalities of using any other solution you will see how Bitcoin is just better.
BTW - I missed him when he came to HK. This fascinating interview took place during the so-called "protests" in HK in 2019. Michael came to HK University to speak truth about how end-of-empire times were approaching.

Fascinating
I have got to recommend that you listen to Martin Armstrong. I am pretty sure that you have never heard about him before but his pedigree speaks for itself. He may or may not be right on all his projections but you likely do want to listen to and consider them in the spirit of Ethical Skepticism - as we have discussed many times. Michael Ferris, the interviewer, does ask rather good questions - directly!

TLDR - we are not out of the woods yet - in fact "you ain't seen nothing yet!" - he cites a few things to look forward to in 2026 and 2027.
One way to opt out
For those who have had enough of the Big Tech (and Fascist Government) surveillance, Louis has a fun suggestion. Normally I am not a fan of these things but this one does resonate with me and it (perhaps not accidentally) resonates with the paperclip that you may see people wearing and it has long historical significance.

Louis has a follow-up video here - well worth a listen. What are you doing?
🤔 Closing Thoughts
This week there has been a lot of heavy content as the unveiling continues. There is yet another one below but we start with a lighter one that should get you thinking.
The connections are real
You know that I am a fan of Rupert Sheldrake and his work. You likely recall that he has been sidelined and vilified by mainstream science for his ideas. You have got to appreciate how he has stood up to this. The ideas that he presents seem so obviously correct. The repression is yet another example of the Empire propaganda machine crushing out all information that it does not want you to know or talk about - all the more reason why you should want to know and talk about it. Click below for a superb explainer - do you see it yet?

For those who want to go deeper - I have previously reviewed and recommended Rupert's book - Morphic Resonance.
MKUltra - it runs deeper than you thought
Recently William Ramsey did an excellent interview on Tommy's Podcast. William has done extensive research over the years and he has volumes of information to support his claims. This is a discussion that they will continue in another episode but you should listen to this first one to have the foundation.
This is linked to our recent exploration of the dark world of Dutroux and Epstein.

Can you imagine what links all of these? Click here to hear the explanation
Listen to this fascinating discussion as William and Tommy exchange notes and keep diving deeper into their research. You will soon come to the inevitable conclusion that these things cannot be coincidence.
