204 - Transformative times
🇹🇠We really are in the quiet time here in Bangkok. It is the time that you do need to enjoy Bangkok the most. V and I are busy with all our own projects and enjoying the city. I have been out to a few new meetups in addition to all the regular ones and we have done quite a few outings around the city.
Some of the shopping malls have already got their Chinese New Year decorations up. Dragons are everywhere and horses are plentiful too.
During the week V and I did a nice walk around the old city - from Saphan Taksin and River City up through Talat Noi, Soi Wanit and Song Wat through to Chinatown. It was interesting to see that all the gold shops were "standing room only"; you could not get into them - so big is the rush to buy gold these days! This should make you think.
This week I am continuing the Sovereign Computing series (part 2) - we'll cover messaging and social media. Next week I am planning to cover bitcoin wallets for beginners - giving you the ability to send and receive bitcoin over Lightning and using Cashu; I do encourage you to participate and give it a try. If not now, then when? I'll be speaking on these topics at this month's Bob Space meetup - do come along if you are in town.
Discussion of the week
A couple of fantastically interesting videos to start this week. First up, Simon gives his perspective on what is really happening in the big picture of Geopolitics. Following that is a superb discussion, facilitated by Hrvoje, with Nick Hudson.
Simon says...
Listen, enjoy and learn from Simon's deep-dive analysis of the shifting global power structures, focusing on how "Big Money" utilises geopolitical theatre to mask massive wealth transfers. He frames the current environment as a transition into a multipolar world order defined by Fiscal Dominance, where traditional state sovereignty is being traded for a transnational grid managed by financial, military, and technical industrial complexes.

You will understand that five major currency wars are currently reshaping the global financial landscape. Simon argues that the Financial Industrial Complex uses sanctions as "Financial Weapons of Mass Destruction" to inflict pain on ordinary citizens, forcing them away from local currencies and into digital dollar rails or surveillance-heavy stablecoins.
Once seen, you cannot unsee these things - you have been warned.
Centralisation is Doomed to Failure
Next up is a fascinating discussion between Hrvoje and Nick Hudson. You might not agree with all Nick's points (and I do not think that I do either) but you know that it is good to listen widely in the spirit of Ethical Skepticism and this is an interview that you should not miss.

Superbly informative interview - click to watch
Nick was an outspoken commentator (and speaker of common sense) all during the Covid Crimes. As a Private Equity Manager he is highly intelligent and well-connected; you would do well to listen to and consider his opinions, observations and discoveries.
He has interesting (some would say contrarian) views on BRICS and AI in general, AGI in particular. He might well be "not wrong" - WDYT?

🛠️ Project Updates
Continuing this week with part 2 of the Sovereign Computing series where we talk about useful tools and utilities that help maximise your privacy and security while minimising data exposure to the Empire. Last week in part 1 we covered setting up your computer, phone and photos in a secure and sovereign manner - check it out if you need a refresher.
Messengers
You really should want to avoid Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, and similar mainstream apps for privacy and security reasons. These run as centralised services with data collection and data mining and your discussions are not confidential - they will be shared with third parties outside your control.
Signal Messenger. Start here. This is the easiest one to get started with and likely some of your friends will already use it (and wish you would too!). It is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted messaging service offering instant messaging, voice calls, and video calls across multiple platforms including Windoze, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. It provides features like group chats, file sharing, disappearing messages, screen sharing, and story sharing, all while using your phone number as an identifier.
Henry gives a rather well-balanced review - listen, learn and decide:

Session Messenger. For maximum privacy and as backup for Signal. This is also an open-source, end-to-end encrypted messenger, but it emphasises anonymity and decentralisation. Unlike Signal, Session does not require a phone number or email for registration, making accounts completely anonymous. It operates on a decentralized network using onion routing to minimise metadata and enhance privacy. For an excellent explainer on the philosophy behind Session, listen to this very informative interview.

Bitchat Messenger. Download this now and have it for when you need it. It is a decentralized messaging app launched in summer 2025. It uses Bluetooth mesh networks to enable encrypted communication without requiring internet access or SIM cards. As a reader here you will understand why this can be rather important when you need it.

Key features include:
- Offline messaging: Messages are transmitted via Bluetooth, making it resilient to internet blackouts and censorship.
- Privacy-focused: No phone number or email registration is required, and there are no central servers storing messages.
- Security measures: Claims end-to-end encryption, ephemeral channels, dummy traffic, and panic wipe controls
I recommend that you download and try out all three of these apps. Signal is the one that you will likely use most - you can reach me on Signal here. Session is good to have as a backup (and if you need it you will know). Bitchat is one to have for emergency situations - when internet and cell service are down - you will appreciate that the time of need may be closer than you would like.
Social Media and Information sharing
Traditional Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter (X) etc) has become a real cesspit of moral corruption in recent years. In large part this is due to the algorithmic feeds being optimised for reactive engagement.
There are valid reasons for wanting data and information sharing like these platforms but without all the toxicity. That is where Nostr steps in. Nostr is an alternative platform that has been built up over the last three years or so. It supports community building and unstoppable information sharing.
Core Advantages of Nostr:
- No email or phone number needed to use it
No one (not even a government or mega-corp) has any way to take your account away from you. You can easily migrate to any client or app instantly by importing your key. - Your content is backed up and distributed worldwide
Content lives on many independent relays (servers) that anyone can run. If one relay blocks you or your posts, you switch to (or add) others. No single company or moderator team can de-platform you globally. - Simple chronological feed from people important to you
No doomscroll-optimised feed designed to keep you addicted and angry. You can add algorithmic feeds if you want them, but they're not the default and not controlled by a single entity trying to maximise ad revenue. - Integrated payments (monetisation using Bitcoin)
Most clients support Lightning Network "zaps". These are small Bitcoin payments you can send/receive directly in replies or on posts. This creates real economic signals and creator monetisation without middlemen taking 30% cuts or freezing payouts. - Use whatever client you like best and easy switching
Pick from Damus, Primal, Amethyst, Snort, Coracle and many more. Your followers see your content regardless of what client they use. If you hate one app's UI or moderation policy, switch without losing your audience or history.
I recommend Primal as the easiest client to get started with. Just go to the web-page or download it on your phone/tablet and give it a go. You can follow me here.

This should surprise nobody
I have long explained to you that Empire is playing the "long game" and that by virtue of their ability to create unlimited money for their use they bet on all horses in all the races and adapt as things play out. None of this is in your interest - recall Anatomy of the State.
Click below to read and listen as Iain explains to you how come the apparent victory in the UK on Digital ID is meaningless. Nothing changes until and unless people get up and push back on the nonsense. As long as you keep accepting the shit that you are being fed, you will be fed more and more of it - the supply is unlimited.

Do you see it yet - Iain explains it rather clearly
Really rather interesting
I highly recommend that you click below and sit back and listen to this fascinating discussion with Ole Dammegard. Ole has been researching the corrupt and evil actions of the Empire for some 45 years and he has all the data. Listen as he talks you through what happened in Butler Pennsylvania and other hotspots in the lead up to the totally unbelievable events on 10th September 2025.

An eye-opening discussion - do not say that nobody told you
As he says - the lies and corruption are so blatant that there is no excuse to go on accepting it. Just like with the Covid Crimes - it is time that you start talking with your friends and contacts about this - you will be surprised at how many also see it but also felt tongue-tied. If you do nothing else today, do this.
Yet another example
Never allow yourself to be lulled into inaction by believing that one False Flag that you have understood is somehow "the exception". Pretty much every shocking or "mass casualty" event that you can name or think of is a False Flag - staged and executed to keep you and those around you confused and submissive. It is past time to wake up.

It is all totally obvious once you open your eyes
🤔 Closing Thoughts
Closing out this week, Jason and Shanta discuss about their expectations for 2026. This will likely give you pause for thought and may well reinforce some things that had already worked out yourself.
The discussion follows quite a stream of consciousness and thinking - fasten your seat-belt: context-setting, tarot and astrological framing, geopolitical and technological forecasts, social-cultural trends (Christian revival, anti‑Islamic violence, female-led reaction) and broader terrestrial/astronomical concerns (Saturn–Neptune conjunction, fire-horse cycle, earthquakes/volcanoes). Each major point is highlighted, summarised, and followed by a clear conclusion or practical takeaway.

Final takeaways - and practical suggestions
- Watch mid‑February through late spring as a key energetic and eventful window for 2026.
- Expect legal/regulatory moves on AI authenticity and digital ID that reshape creator economies.
- Geopolitical operations will continue in opaque, opportunistic ways; be cautious about grand strategic narratives without corroboration.
- Urban knife/assassin‑style violence may decline in key Western theatres as political, legal, and social countermeasures take hold; women’s leadership will be notable.
- Prepare for natural/infra‑related shocks; backup data and maintain contingency plans.
- For communicators: authenticity, teaching, and community focus will outperform extended public feuds.
