42 - Assessing things in Hong Kong
Did you miss the wakeup call?

πŸ‡πŸ‡° We are still in HK and will be here for a few more weeks. I did manage to get back into daily routine and hiked to the Peak most days during the week despite the weather. It all feels rather strange back in HK - more on this below.

We were busy with plenty of things to do - especially catching up on all the admin things and ensuring that all bank and credit cards are renewed to the max - in addition to passports, international driving licenses etc. We are actively planning things for 2023 and lots to do on that. How about your plans? Tips here.

I had hoped to go to the Bitcoin Meetup on IFC roof but it seems to have moved to next Thursday - perhaps because of the cold weather.

During the week there was briefly some buzz about restrictions around Covid dropping but this is too little and much too late and achieves nothing useful; in fact it is rather the opposite. The "LeaveHomeSafe" app has apparently been "scrapped" - so indeed scanning is no longer needed (not that people were doing it anyway) but they are keeping vaccination requirement for many things and you can be sure that this will come back more later in some worse form of smartphone-based Digital ID that is linked with CBDC and your money with built-in tracking - more on that below from Sorelle and Guy. Also "the mask requirement continues". Recall how useless masks are and recognise the social and psychological damage that they cause - zombifying and dividing people.

Normally the weather in HK is dry during the winter and it can be surprisingly cool (usually around 26 January is coldest day of the year) but this week in HK has been fairly miserable with temperatures dipping down as low at 7 degrees! Quite a change from Thailand and Malaysia. Nobody has heating in HK - the best you can do is electric blanket and wooly socks.

It may surprise you that we have seasons in HK - we are certainly in winter now!

We did get out and about around HK most days and were struck by the lack of people everywhere. There are still grand (symbolic) constructions in many spots but the people seem to be missing - see below. HK is a ghost of its former self.

There's more - do read on for some important and useful insights

  • Interview from former US Presidential candidate that you likely did not hear about as well as quite some important information with supporting links - 1984 and Brave New World ahead.
  • CBDCs and Digital ID - you really should understand what is coming - you can and should use your real vote - as we have been discussing
  • Update on my projects and what I am working on
  • The usual section of useful and informative links - including one from the Chief Economist of the European Central Bank
  • Finishing up with something completely different to make you think

I am always happy to meet and discuss and share opinions and experience. For that I am always happy to meet up in whatever city we happen to be and also we can schedule and online call with Zoom or other channels - just reach out. Also remember that we have the Telegram Group where we can also discuss together.

This is the most important thing you can watch this week. Pascal Najadi is a former banker and advisor to many nations and governments at the top level as well as US Presidential Candidate in 2020. You will be surprised (at least) by much of what he says but there is also a clear route forward that is hopeful - as we have discussed in previous newsletters.

5:54 - Criminal charges against member of Swiss government
12:35 - Damages from vaccination
16:35 - German military confirms jab worsens health
18:51 - Connection to WEF and Davos
22:57 - The state of Switzerland
27:38 - Opinion on Bitcoin
34:06 - Pascal's history - listen carefully here to what he says
37:20 - African governments
40:28 - Christine Lagarde
42:05 - Ukraine
49:42 - What happens next in finance
54:40 - Jab is about control
1:00:54 - Call to action - recall that you do have a vote and it is not the one that the government gives you - click here if that is not clear to you

Pascal is clear - the best way forward is to get your politicians to abandon the war and negotiate peace and move forward from there - his article is here. How will you use your real vote?

Compartmentalisation

In case you are wondering - how could such a scheme possibly operate - how could this be coordinated and not uncovered or leaked, recall what we discussed last week about Compartmentalisation and the Spectrum of Corruption. There are whistleblowers and you should listen to them though you can be sure they will be suppressed on all mainstream media.

Where all this is leading to is not new - it has happened before and it is happening again. Watch the video below and you will understand why many have tried to suppress books like George Orwell's 1984. Some would argue that this counts as "the plans being On Display" and that if you do not like it you should speak up - recall Arthur Dent's experience.

Click to watch - we were warned

Perhaps you recall Sun Tzu's Art of War - in the early chapters it could not be clearer that wars (though undesirable) should be as short as possible to avoid useless squandering of resources. So you should understand that since we are now in perpetual war that resources are being squandered perpetually.

Recall the Report from Iron Mountain from a 1967 US government panel which concluded that war, or a credible substitute for war, is necessary if governments are to maintain power.

Regarding CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies)

While these may sound boring you absolutely do not want these despite what your government will say - as Sorelle explains. Be in no doubt - governments will try to get these introduced and accepted by all possible nefarious means. In HK they were slipped in via the Octopus card and "Consumption Vouchers" that everyone was happy to receive - these seem to be free money but you can only spend them on things the government approves and there are additional constraints that can be applied including expiry dates and holding limits - they are not equivalent to cash - they are inferior and dangerous. You have been warned. Ask for and use cash wherever possible.

Upper Echelon continues to pound out high quality and well-researched and substantiated material. While many are of the opinion that Regulators were "asleep at the wheel" with regards to FTX... he proposes an alternative angle: where they simply allowed the scandal to unfold with a greater agenda in the background.

FTX was merely a useful incitement event and this is but one part of a plan that has long been in place and followed. Pay attention to the details and definitions.

Do also watch Guy's video - maybe the most important Coin Bureau has ever done: You must watch until the end and read his summary below.

Central bank digital currencies or CBDCs are considered to be the most terrifying financial technology to many in the crypto industry. However, CBDCs pale in comparison to the dystopian digital IDs that almost every country around the world is rolling out.

Guy has been wanting to cover digital ID for a while but wanted to make absolutely sure that he had all the information needed to make a video unlike any other. It's safe to say that what he uncovered is more terrifying than anything he could have ever imagined.

This is easily one of the most important videos the Coin Bureau has ever done. It's up there with our videos about how to survive the great reset, the upcoming carbon credit scores, and of course all the videos about Blackrock magically being ahead of the curve.

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Remember that you do have a real vote that counts - use your vote.

Update on my projects

I am continuing to study and experiment with some interesting and likely important new technologies - mostly around Bitcoin and Lightning, including Synonym's Slashtags, Holepunch and Keet - it is still early but remember that building takes place in the bear market!

Recently ChatGPT has hit the news, startling (and worrying) many. Take a look at these two explanations by two different developers. The first is a walkthrough showing you some of the capabilities that it has; initially I was skeptical but in a few minutes you will be surprised (maybe concerned?).

Click to watch

Then watch on for this one as a more "hacker-type" developer explains how you can bypass the controls and restrictions that are built into it to prevent it from doing nefarious things. Maybe now you are concerned - watch Neo's explainer.

Obviously it did not take long for more developers to chip in with helpful suggestions on how to bypass the "safety controls". Trouble ahead?

πŸŽ“ Reading, listening and learning

Below are some interesting sources that I came across, or was reminded of, in the past week - for your enjoyment and edification.

Some straight talking from Guy on the effectiveness of Sanctions - they always back fire on the population of the government implementing them; the Mexicans did not pay for the wall!

Click to watch

You will not have seen much, if any, of this next one in Western Mainstream media - but the rest of the world is not waiting - they are progressing to build their new Financial System, leaving the old one to collapse. Recall that we did discuss Zoltan Pozsar's explainer from Credit Suisse back in March - and he has a few interesting ones since.

Bretton Woods II ended today

Recall our discussions on "The Economic Hitmen". Michael Hudson sums it up in just 90 seconds - required watching - you MUST know this.

After that you might do well to watch and listen to the lecture that he gave in Hong Kong back in 2019 - interestingly this was at the height of "the protests".

Talking of Clown World and dishonest, unaccountable people - be amazed by this 90 second clip of the Chief Economist of the European Central Bank trying to explain how and why they just "create money". If this does not terrify you, nothing will.

πŸ€ͺ Finishing up on a lighter note

These videos are interesting and y0u might well be seeing more of these recently days. There can be many reasons why this is - I think part of it is due to the ready availability of AI to process and artificially enhance them - as Denis explains in the intro to his video below.
