120 - Build parallel systems
At the Art School - obviously...

🇪🇸 It's mid June already. We had everything this week: first warmer weather where you needed to look out the shady spots around town and then summer thunderstorms and cooler weather needing a jacket - but it's all good.

V and I had great fun this week with our Enneagrams. You may recall that I am an enthusiast of this tool that gives great information and insights. Of course V and I know each other, all our traits, strengths and weaknesses rather well but it was fun to take the questionnaire and see how well all the results match and you will always learn something that you did not know or realise. Once you have your results I can recommend Tom LaHue's videos for additional insights - for example what are your super-powers. It's also fun to see to which of the characters in Lord of the Rings you best relate!

We also had a bitcoin meetup with a few of us spontaneously getting together for tapas and drinks one lunchtime. In addition to meeting interesting folks I was able to demonstrate Cashu, Lightning, Phoenix and Mutiny and how these bring about easier onboarding and scaling. Next one is Wednesday evening 19th at 7pm.

It seems there were European Elections last weekend. Honestly I saw nothing at all here in Palma - no posters, no campaigners, not even any polling stations. This is one of the benefits of living on an island - recall The Sovereign Individual. Presumably it did happen here like elsewhere and likely the same "Right-Wing shift" happened.

The realist in me recognises that the politicians are all corrupt and captured (or will be) by the empire and they just give you the illusion of choice and alternative; I am ready to believe otherwise only when I see real actions reversing the nonsense legislation of the last decades and prosecuting the Covid crimes against humanity. Don't expect anything soon - since UK and France parliaments are now dissolved and then the summer vacation will arrive. Not to mention the clown show in the US. Recall The Report from Iron Mountain and Anatomy of the State. Opt out, build and use Parallel Systems for yourself and others.

Speaking of distractions: last weekend Northern Ireland football team came here to Palma to play Spain. Seems like they could have saved the trip - per the local press: Spain made light work of Northern Ireland in their final warm-up match ahead of Euro 2024, recording a thumping 5-1 win despite going behind.

Interview of the week

Thanks to the good folks at UK Column, I came across this a couple of weeks ago. I also met up with a bitcoiner this week is is a member of the "Control Group" - you likely do want to watch this one carefully and do not skip it.

I am well aware that, once awake, it is easy to be nihilistic but The Control Group may well be an example of one of those Parallel System initiatives that we need to build - we talked about that last week. You are invited to participate. DYOR.

Reclaim your Rights and Control: The Control Group
ONE MILLION MEMBERS—Call to action—Do you want to reclaim control from your government? We will show you how. Introducing a new parallel system: the Control Group.

They aim to beat those in charge at their own game, by reclaiming control of our data, our health and the future of generations to come. Everyone is welcome; there are no borders or barriers. Bringing the vaccinated and unvaccinated together from all around the world, the data will be unique and very precious—but more importantly, it will be open to view any time you wish.

🛠️ Project Updates

The following are updates from some projects that I am following, supporting and collaborating with. All of these are part of the Parallel Systems that we need to build and use. What are you doing?

Bitcoin.review

Another interesting and far-reaching review of all of the current and ongoing Bitcoin and Nostr developments. New to the meeting this week is Jameson Lopp; welcome! I am constantly amazed by how much development is going on and I am doing what I can to support it. How about you?

Simplex Chat

You may well be aware that am a fan and supporter of SimpleX Chat. Simplex is a recent and still-developing private messaging app with a slant toward privacy over convenience.

Evgeny, the lead developer, gives his critical thoughts on other private messengers, explains how privacy software can fund itself, exposes the myth of disappearing messages and gets into some of the finer details of how Simplex Chat has made different choices from its competitors. Amazingly SimpleX gets rid of accounts altogether, allowing you to create as many “profiles” as you want that are localised to your device. The result is, as Evgeny says, SimpleX knows nothing about its users.

I am switching to use SimpleX as my main alternative to Session - details here

I will continue to be reachable on Session and I still believe it to be good solution but SimpleX has matured to the point where I am going to try it as my preferred private channel. I'll be looking in to hosting my own SimpleX server. Feel free to reach out to me here and try it for yourself.

Saifedean in El Salvador

This has got to be one of the best interviews of Saifedean that I have seen - on a par of the one that Lex did some time ago. Listen and learn how he put together the Bitcoin Standard and contrast that with how he assembled The Fiat Standard. Also you will learn a thing or two about Bitcoin - especially the "Difficulty Adjustment" as well as how and why this is important.

Click for a fabulously informative interview

Ahmad Ammous

And hot on the heels of this, Saifedean did a fascinating interview with his brother who is a medical doctor who has also wakened up to the corruption of his so-called profession. Listen carefully to understand how medical treatment used to be tailored to the patient and his/her situation but how it was shifted to become mandatory standardised pharmaceutical medicine and procedures, based on and only treating symptoms.

Saifedean interviews his brother - This is a GREAT interview - listen, learn and share

You likely do realise that all the so-called alternative medicine in fact is likely much more effective but it has been sidelined and even outlawed so that the empire can enforce its pharmaceutical evil monopoly on everyone.

In case you hadn't realised it, the criminality of the Pharmaceutical industry has been long known and well documented - you may well even remember this - just one of so many examples - Thalidomide being another you may recall.

Ivor explains just how corrupt the Pharmaceutical industry is

I know people don't like to think about it: what is most likely the cause of autism?

ICYMI - this will have implications

Whilst it may well not be true that there is or was any "Petrodollar contract" that expired, there is certainly plenty of activity in the BRICS area with countries increasingly choosing to sell oil and other goods in multiple currencies, including the Chinese RMB, Euros, Yen, and Rupees, instead of exclusively in US dollars. I'll let you think through the implications yourself - they ought to be pretty clear if you have been following along.

For those who need help, Marty explains many of the implications as he see them:

The BRICS+ Countries Are Ditching The Dollar
The BRICS countries are accelerating their dedollarization campaign.

David Hughes was the Interview of the Week back in Newsletter 118. He also caught the attention of William Ramsey and I strongly recommend that you listen to this follow-up interview.

David's linked book is freely available (link below). This is a hard listen due to the truths that he exposes but you need to do it. You should also support him for reasons that he explains.

Can you see it yet?

You should watch and listen to this recent interview and discussion with Ole Dammegard. He clearly explains how the recent "Mannheim Stabbing" was clearly a staged event and false flag, possibly a planned distraction from the recent Bilderberg Meeting.

He goes on to explain many more recent false flags, including: the Copenhagen Stock Exchange fire, Australian priest stabbing and also the 2017 Port Arthur shooting. Michael Jaco is former US Special Ops and it is interesting how he has now realised that he was unknowingly included into the Port Arthur event.

The false narrative group that creates war and historical lies

However difficult you find this you really ought to listen and take off the blindfold to see what is going on. Problem, reaction, solution - this is how you are being manipulated. Wake up - this short movie may help you and others:

Blindfold

Blindfold from Teace Snyder - Do take 20 minutes to watch this.

Recall also our discussion of how the the Oslo 2011 event was discredited with the so-called victims being clearly actors who just walked off the set into their bus.

Whether or not the attribution is correct - the essence of this wisdom is spot-on

Speaking of False Flags...

The Cyber Polygon cybersecurity exercise is back for the first time since 2021 and will simulate a “sophisticated targeted attack on a tech company.” The last Cyber Polygon event was scheduled to take place on July 8, 2022 in Moscow, but it was postponed without any mention of war, conflict, or Ukraine.

"Coincidentally", on that same date, July 8, 2022, Canadian telecoms giant Rogers experienced a major network outage that “disrupted nearly every aspect of daily life, cutting banking, transport and government access for millions, and hitting the country’s cashless payments system and Air Canada’s call center.”

Cyber Polygon Returns To Stage ‘Targeted Attack on a Tech Company’
Cyber Polygon 2024 will simulate a “sophisticated targeted attack on a tech company” from September 10-11, with operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

No coincidence that exercise takes place September 10-11th - 911 all over again?

You likely want to know and take action on this

This is important research and evidence from former policeman, Gary Waterman. Hard as it is you really should watch and listen to this latest update on the clear evidence of fraud, corruption and how this is being systematically ignored and suppressed by all UK politicians and police to whom it has been reported.

Click for this conclusion - do listen to the whole thing and download his documents

Gary provides extensive links to all the supporting documentation and police reports - click here. Listen very carefully to his conclusions.

🤔 Closing Thoughts

Another couple of closing thoughts - at least one of which should resonate with each of you. The first one goes really deep - you should sit down for this one - I really love this sort of information sharing. Lastly Jason gives his very interesting perspective on the Parable of the Prodigal Son - you may or may not be ready for this.

Fasten your seatbelt

This is a fabulously interesting interview. You may not agree with all of the content and conclusions but you would do well to be aware of the possibilities and the conclusions that many clever and intelligent people have reached who have researched these topics much more than you.

In this episode Tim Hinchliffe describes the profound connections between contemporary technological advancements and ancient mythologies. He shows how the narratives of creation and destruction from previous civilisations resonate deeply with today’s digital transformations.

Tim describes the cyclical nature of human progress, where each technological leap reenacts age-old stories of Gods and creations, emphasising the recurring themes of renewal and catastrophe that have shaped civilisations.

Between Gods and Machines: The Ancient Mythology of AI ft. Tim Hinchliffe [SFP074] | The Staying Free Podcast
In this episode I explore with Tim Hinchliffe the profound connections between contemporary technological advancements and ancient mythologies. Our conversation unveils how the narratives of creation and destruction from previous civilisations resonate deeply with today’s digital transformations. Tim offers a thought provoking perspective on how artificial intelligence parallels myths from various cultures, suggesting that we are perhaps unconsciously echoing these ancient patterns of creating entities that could eventually transcend us. We delve into the cyclical nature of human progress, where each technological leap reenacts age-old stories of Gods and creations, emphasizing the recurring themes of renewal and catastrophe that have shaped civilizations. The conversation invites us to reflect on how modern society can draw wisdom from these enduring tales to navigate the ethical and existential questions posed by AI and other transformative technologies. Through this episode, we seek to elucidate the similarities between the distant past and our imminent future, encouraging a deeper understanding of our role as creators in this ever-evolving narrative of human civilization. Parable of the Prodigal Son

Another one that is probably not for beginners. If you are honest with yourself you probably did find the Parable of the Prodigal Son to be somewhat confusing and counter-intuitive. Jason gives you his perspective on this and more.

Jason explains - not for beginners - start at 12 min 45 sec

A man who had two sons. The younger son asked his father for his inheritance early, and the father gave it to him. The younger son then went away and squandered his wealth on reckless living.

After he had spent everything, a severe famine struck the land where he was, and he found himself in dire need. He ended up taking a job feeding pigs. In his desperation, he even longed to eat the food the pigs were eating. Finally, the younger son came to his senses and decided to return to his father, not as a son, but as a servant, hoping his father would at least take him in.

To his surprise, when the father saw him returning, he ran to him, embraced him, and welcomed him back as a son. The father then threw a celebratory feast for his returned son, much to the dismay of the older son, who had remained faithful and obedient.

~ The parable of the Prodigal Son

Whilst maybe (or not?) unrelated, this whole story reminded me of our discussion back in Madeira: Die with Zero: Getting All You Can from Your Money and Your Life - certainly provocative and obvious if you think about it but 99% do the opposite!
