162 - A busy week

🇬🇧 We had a really busy week with family commitments every day and quite a few meetups with friends.

Over the weekend, the weather was not great but we made the best of it, touring Belfast and then Hillsborough Castle on Sunday. Being Mother's Day we had a couple of special entry tickets - nice!

Monday was a day for family visits - so we were out and about all day and the weather turned around becoming sunny and less cold.

Tuesday we got the Belgians off back to Belgium and then I enjoyed the sunny weather for a Belfast Lough walk. In the evening I was happy to get to the Belfast Bitcoin meetup. It was a small group but we had some fascinating discussion on many topics including, Broken Money, Lightning Wallets, Robosats (I will be investigating this more), When Money Dies and even Albert Pike's letter.

Wednesday was my Dad's birthday - it was good to have most of the family here this week. It was fabulously sunny all day and nice to get outside too.

Wednesday evening we had a pizza party in Holywood with a few friends. We recalled and talked about many things, including making sure that everyone's Bitcoin wallet was up to date and working well. As I travel round, I do find more and more people who realise why this is important. It is certainly not too late to start. In case you have forgotten we discussed all the details here and derGigi explained why it is important here.

Thursday was fabulously sunny and I got out and about with former school friends for a nice walk along the lough. Plenty of people enjoying themselves too on the beach but I see that Holywood council has yet again dug up the Seapark playground and just abandoned the work site.

Still perfect weather on Friday and we were busy finalising things for the next stage of our journey for this year. Next week we will be back in Palma de Mallorca. Looking forward to some nice weather and seeing old friends there again. Also, say "hello" if you are visiting some time - some subscribers already have!

Interview of the week

You will know that I am a fan of Rupert Sheldrake. I recommend that you read his book, Morphic Resonance and we have discussed "Morphic Fields and the Mind beyond the Brain" a year ago back in Newsletter #122.

Recently I came across this excellent interview of Rupert - listen, learn and enjoy. Can morphic resonance help explain the problem of missing heritability and why memories have not been found in the brain? In this interview, Dr Rupert Sheldrake discusses with Natalia Vorontsova his theory of morphic fields and its implications for our understanding of the mysteries of nature.

00:03:09 Rupert's background and research
00:06:37 What genes and evolution by natural selection don't explain.
00:20:36 How does morphic resonance work?
00:24:28 Examples of morphic fields and morphic resonance.
00:29:08 How can we measure morphic fields?
00:32:13 Physarum algorithm and morphic resonance experiments.
00:39:29 Are laws of nature just habits?
00:50:09 Brain, mind, consciousness and where memories are stored.
00:59:43 What is the locus of Mind and consciousness?
01:05:32 How nature is organised: hierarchical morphic fields.
01:07:47 Are thoughts and emotions our own?
01:12:00 Intuition and morphic resonance.
01:16:34 What needs to change in the scientific paradigm?
01:19:17 Science and spirituality.

As we have discussed before - the fact that he has been so suppressed by the mainstream likely is proof that his analysis should be taken seriously. As comparison, recall those who spoke out similarly during (and even after) the Covid Crimes.

🛠️ Project Updates

This is another light week on the project front since I have been so busy with all the family things. Just a couple of updates this week - reminding you to think about getting out of the grip of Big Tech and maybe even take some first steps.

Getting off gMail

Most people just started with a gMail (or Hotmail) account and just stuck with it. That was always Google's evil plan - to capture you as a user and to have full and unfettered access to all your data, including all the things that you say and do in email. Think about it - all the confidential and sensitive discussions in your email.

You should understand that Google is scanning every single word that you write and receive in your email and with all of the AI technology around it should be apparent to you that they are able to build up a pretty complete picture.

I'll admit that getting off gMail is not straightforward. The interface is so well designed and optimised that you will find other platforms come up short. Even so, in your heart you should realise that you really ought to make a move - at least for some of your mail. Once you start you will find out how best to use the other platforms and you will find that it gets easier over time. Just leave the "rubbish" on gMail - move your important mail elsewhere.

Henry gives his honest opinion - my choice and recommendation is Protonmail

00:54 Option 5: Fastmail, 02:38 Option 4: Mailbox.org
04:26 Option 3: Startmail, 06:16 Option 2: Tuta, 09:20 Honorable Mentions!
10:30 Option 1: Proton Mail
13:30 What you should do & Takeaways

My recommendation is Protonmail. A first rather easy step is to create your own free account and then start moving some of your more important mail onto it, away from gMail (or even worse Hotmail). No rush - you can take your time and do this over a few weeks or months. Gradually your gMail will contain just the rubbish and you can just abandon it - you likely do want to safestore a copy (Google Takeout) and delete the old mail.

Moving to Linux - Laura's experience

I know that some (many?) of you are skeptical about moving off Windoze (or even Mac), being comfortable in the familiar blanket that these platforms give you. So this week I was happy to discover Laura's testimonial - listen and learn. You might recall that she also shared a testimonial on using GrapheneOS.

Those of you on Windoze, ought to be wakening up to the sickening subscriptions that Micro$oft is forcing upon you, along with all of the advertising that they are now injecting into the platform. Oh, and remember the Recall debacle - be sure that it's not over yet and they will make you pay for it in many different ways with their enforced AI integration. JCristina's rather interesting take is here.

Those on Apple/MacOS are slightly better off with it being based on Unix. However Apple does have plans in their MacOS 16 to introduce many features akin to and inspired by iOS. For me, this is the thin edge of a wedge. They will use this to further reduce your freedom on the platform, restricting access to command line and even restricting what you can install and run - this is already possible with their Gatekeeper software and I do not trust them to use that honestly going forward.

Wow - how great is this!

Indeed, it is not all simple and straightforward but just like with your email, you likely should make a start and have some basic familiarity and ensure that your most important programs can be run separately on Linux, outside of the Empire control.

We have discussed before about how easy it can be to obtain a second-hand laptop and get going with Linux. I recommend that you do this, rather like with Protonmail. Make a start.

Happy 50th birthday, Satoshi

Lastly on projects this week, Jordan has an interesting update and his latest observations and expectations. He may or may not be right but I think it is too interesting not to share. Don't say that nobody told you.

Too interesting not to share - Sat 5 April would be Satoshi's 50th birthday

The following are links from my NetNewswire feeds - learn, enjoy and share.

Some straight talking - listen or don't, you decide!

TechLead is back after a hiatus - I rather think that he is spot on yet again in his take on things. Also a rather interesting discussion on GDP vs GNI - for years I have been telling you that GDP is a fake and misleading measure created by the Empire and he seems to agree.

Click to watch and learn - his update on Friday is rather interesting

After this, you likely do want to watch his update of Friday this week - needless to say, the messages you are being told by mainstream media are false - you are being played. Wake up - or don't. It's your choice.

BTW - If Techlead is too much for you, you might like to listen to Mario explain. He is a retired employee of Cantor Fitzgerald who sees things rather clearly. He still needs to learn about bitcoin's advantages over gold but his assessment on what is happening is correct.

MKBHD has long been an Apple fan-boy. Even he is now waking up to what is happening in Cupertino. John Gruber confessed to a similar awakening a month ago.

MKBHD did spot the signs but he did not want to believe them

Stuck in an endless loop?

This is another great analysis by Tom - and he goes further and tells you some positive, forward-looking steps that you can and may well want to take. As always, everyone needs to make their own decisions. You likely want to do that with all good information at your fingertips and he certainly shares some here.

Wake up. Work. Sleep. Repeat. The system wasn’t built for your freedom—it was built to keep you trapped. Work, debt, exhaustion—it’s all by design.
Most people don't see the systemic slavery they live in. In this video, Tom exposes the inconvenient truth about work and the two steps you need to escape.

Rather clearly explained with steps you can easily take if you are serious

08:41 - The solution to wage slavery
11:19 - The Inconvenient Truth of Work

🤔 Closing Thoughts

A couple of closing thoughts this week. Firstly some new information that Jason has unearthed and some new insights that result - fasten your seatbelt for this one. Then a rather nice summary of some rather well hidden research. Jacobo disappeared in 1994, likely because his research was too close to the truth.

New discoveries - it all makes sense

Notwithstanding his decades of research and already-available material, Jason continues to uncover more insights. He says that he "feels guided" to uncover and share these things. I can recognise that feeling too - perhaps some of you can too?

Looking Internally

I have mentioned Jacobo Grinberg's work before. He was a pioneering neuroscientist who explored the connections between consciousness, perception, and reality. Researching shamanic experiences and altered states of consciousness he found that the mind is capable of unlocking hidden dimensions of reality.

Have you ever felt like you're stuck in a reality that doesn’t fully align with your potential? What if the key to unlocking an entirely new life lies within the power of your own mind?

Yes - this is another AI-produced video. As we have discussed these are not necessarily bad and some really do summarise and present otherwise inaccessible material rather well. I suggest this is one of the good ones.

Remember that you can always reaearch original sources with archive.org and Anna's Archive.

Click for a rather good and well presented summary

Topics include:
* The science behind quantum leaps in perception and reality
* How altered states of consciousness can unlock new dimensions of life
* Practical steps to start shifting your perception
* The power of synchronicity and how the universe guides you if you listen

As always, everyone needs to make their own decisions - all I am doing is sharing information that some (many?) will find helpful. Over to you!
