167 - Holywood this week

๐ช๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ช ๐ฌ๐ง This week V and I have been back in Holywood to check in with family and friends here. While here we have met up with quite a few people and had a good week here. We also got to enjoy all the family time that we had planned.
The weather this week has been fantastic - just like it used to be. Blue sky and sunny every day with puffy clouds. The last time they had weather like this was just before Covid Lockdowns. More on this another time - some of you may already know where this is going.
On Tuesday I was happy to get to the regular Belfast Bitcoin meetup - it was the usual crowd and we had some interesting discussion on topics including personal experience of the recent Spanish power outage. Nobody seems to believe the official narrative - I wonder why!
We also had our regular Pizza evening for a few bitcoiner friends in Holywood to catch up on things here, Helens Bay and in Bangor and on top of all that I got to do a couple of walks along the coast of Belfast Lough and enjoy the sunshine.
Book and Interview of the week
This week I have a great book and and excellent interview to share with you. The book is an easy read - you can do it in a day or a weekend. This lead me to pull some threads - I point them to you below as well. After that, Hrvoje did a great interview with Jesse Smith. Jesse explains how he woke up to what is happening and how is taking action now with others.
Interesting times
We really are living in interesting times. I recently came across Nik Bhatia's latest book. It is something you can read in a day or a weekend - just do it. I learned so many things from reading this and I wholeheartedly recommend it no matter where you think you stand on Bitcoin and what is currently going on in the world.

I thought I understood the EuroDollar system and how it came about but this book goes into all the things that you did not know about it! Nik does a follow-up video below where he talks you though this - recommended watching. You will also learn how unchecked money creation has led to negative consequences such as rising prices (inflation), increasing wealth inequality and recurrent financial crises. Also that the existing economic structure is inherently designed to benefit a select few and the expense of the many.
It's a big club... and you ain't in it

Wake up and time for action
This is an excellent interview by Hrvoje. They both start from their Christian foundations but quickly move on to a comprehensive analysis of all of the signs and evidence of the current state of the Unveilling (Apokalypsis) . After reading Patrick Wood's excellent material, Jesse is now working with Patrick to help spread awareness and they have plans in place. You likely do want to consider what you are doing and your own plans.

If you need more after listening to this one, I highly recommend Hrvoje's recent interview of William Ramsey - you may or may not be ready for what is revealed in that one.

Holywood and Belfast this week
๐ ๏ธ Project Updates
The following are updates from some projects that I am following, supporting and collaborating with. These are all part of the Parallel Systems that we need to build and use. What are you doing?
Self Hosting Rustdesk server
Recently I discovered Lawrence's channel. It is a tremendous source of extremely useful and very well presented information. Following on from our discussion last week on Rustdesk I was happy to find this step by step guide to setting up your own server. He explains everything so well. A nice weekend project with a lot of longer term benefit.

I learned a new thing!
This is nice. All of the main browsers are now supporting Text Fragment Linking. This makes linking back to previously published material easier since it is no longer necessary to link to a published Anchor Tag, rather you can link to text on the page itself! Read the explanation and details here:

I have been using these links for the last few weeks and I use them any time I need to fix a broken link. You should find links out to referenced material to be even better - do let me know!
You are likely missing out
We have discussed quite a few times about so-called Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will be aware of my opinion that there is currently not much intelligence rather it is incredibly advanced pattern matching. That said, you are missing out on enormous productivity and efficiency gains if you do not use these tools. They even make possible things that were previously impossible to do.
For the past few weeks I have been experimenting with NanoGPT. This is a most interesting tool. It gives you access to all of the current AI models (their full and unfettered versions), allowing you to select which model(s) you wish to use or even letting it decide which model is best for your specific query.
Over the last weeks I have used this to answer dozens of questions needing deep search and also to troubleshoot numerous installation and configuration issues on Linux systems. I can honestly say that without using tools like this I could not have done those things at all - certainly not with the thoroughness and accuracy that these tools can archive. Total cost paid - less than $1.50.
Even more interesting is that, whilst this is a paid service, you can use it fully anonymously - without creating an account and paying by Monero. The fees are very reasonable and you avoid all of the subscription nonsense. FYI I use Monero for all of my recurring-type and/or subscription services wherever possible. Indeed having this (or Bitcoin over Lightning) as a payment option is one of the prime selection factors for me.

๐ Links for your edification
The following are links from my NetNewswire feeds - learn, enjoy and share.
Burying the truth
You might recall that rather strange incident where a Black Hawk Helicopter crashed into a commercial jet above the Potomac River in Washington DC back in January. 67 people died as a result of this. Well you likely never heard the real cause of the incident because the reporting buried the truth.

Mainstream lies by omission - no surprise here for those who are awake
Such brazen lying by omission should not surprise anyone who is awake. Sharing this with others might help to wake up those around you who are still sleeping.
Central banks are an evil creation
Richard Werner and Robert Breedlove explore the hidden history of money and how central banks have systematically buried the truth about its origins and true nature. They unpack the manipulation of the economics profession, why questioning money is considered dangerous to your career, and how the central banks have shaped modern narratives around finance.

All of the above is independently and authoritatively confirmed by Edward Griffin here in this interview.
Adobe has been evil for years - I just forgot to mention it!
I quit all Adobe product use many years ago when they switched from outright payment to subscription. Happily I did not hesitate. Those who remained with them got locked into subscriptions that are almost impossible to cancel and even if you succeed you will end up paying penalty fees to not use their software!

Apple leads the way in the decline
Apple had a crushing defeat in the US courts this week, ruling that their policy of ignoring court rulings and proceeding regardless with demanding 30% tax on all App Store transactions was blatantly illegal. They were forced to end it instantly and Executives may be subject to criminal prosecution for this.

The EU had previously ruled similarly but more meekly, resulting in Apple implementing "Malicious Compliance" where they claim to comply with the letter of the ruling but the implementation is so dreadful that nobody can benefit from it.
Thanks to Tim Sweeney of Epic Games who took Apple to court on this and won after 4 years, 4 months and 17 days of capricious blocking by Apple. Kudos too to Tim who offers a peaceful worldwide settlement - I doubt Apple will take it - continuing to exemplify horrible fiat-behaviour. It is true that Fiat Ruins Everything.
As Techlead points out, all of the Big Tech Giants have recently been buying their own stock to keep the price high. This is the height of fiat madness - they might as well have taken the money and burned it in the street. There are so many things they could have done with the money that would be better. This behaviour is also what caused the market crash of 1929 to be even worse - such Corporate Buy-backs were fuel to the fire.
Don't say that nobody told you. You have been warned.
๐ค Closing Thoughts
A couple of closing items this week. First, Dan is back with a very nice update on the Gateway Process and using the recordings - his experiences matches mine. Lastly, thanks to one of my subscribers who persuaded me to watch one of the movies I had talked about a couple of weeks ago - it really is amazing.
Gateway Process - really
Dan returns to give a straight-talking explainer of the Focus levels in the gateway process and what you are likely to experience with each one.
Click for a great explainer - he says it like it is
Do watch his full explanation. From my perspective, Focus 3 is indeed straightforward and similar to any quiet relaxation or meditation. Focus 10 is a noticeable step up and it will take you a couple of weeks to be able to achieve it reliably. Focus 11 and 12 do indeed get more interesting and it is well worth spending a few months to explore. Do not be in any hurry to rush ahead.
I still have levels 15 and above to look forward to - how about you?
They Live - well worth watching

I mentioned this movie a couple of weeks ago. One of my subscribers reached out and told me that it was his all-time favourite movie so I felt I had to watch it. It is indeed superb. As you watch it now, it all seems obvious - it is almost impossible to understand why people did not see all this before - WDYT?
After all that, your appetite may well be whetted for some more such movies. Christopher has done another 10 - check them out.
