241 - Busy in Bangkok
🇹🇠We are really happy to be back in South East Asia again - it does feel like coming home. We are not yet back in Hong Kong - we had lots to do here in Bangkok first. We have been fully busy every day, starting with our morning swim in the pool on the roof.
First priority here was to find an apartment so we got straight to it. We have several favourite buildings that we know well and are rather convenient - also quite a few landlords/owners that we know now from previous visits, just like in all the locations that we visit. That done, next step was to get everything in the apartment the way that V likes it. Needless to say, this entailed a few visits to Ikea.
We also took advantage of the excellent medical and dental facilities. It is beyond me how people tolerate (and even extol) the services that you find in the UK and some other locations. From our experience you will find decent services in some European countries but what you find here in Bangkok is world class and best value. For pretty much anything, you can simply phone and they ask you if you want to come this afternoon or tomorrow.
Notwithstanding the fearmongering that you see on the news (Empire propaganda channels), the weather here has been OK. It is rainy season and there is certainly flooding in some parts of Bangkok and around but in Central Bangkok everything is fully normal. We also had the advantage of flying Qatar airways which has separate luggage handling, so arrival in Bangkok was also fully smooth - those flying Thai airways were not so lucky.
Interview of the week
I had plenty of time on flights and in transit this past week, so I got to listen to quite a plethora of interesting material - shared below for your enjoyment.
I listened to this interview while relaxing in the sunshine in Benjasiri Park, enjoying a coffee from my favourite coffee stand nearby. Beware: this is not an easy listen but you will be wiser after listening to it. Remember that history does not repeat but it certainly rhymes and there is more in you than you may want to acknowledge.

Joseph Sansone explores his book Psychopathic Authoritarianism: A Disease of the Soul, arguing that global power structures are driven by the Dark Tetrad traits of sadism, narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. He contends that overcoming this systemic technocratic control requires collective dissent, individual self-actualization and the active pursuit of liberty.
They also discuss Viktor Frankl's book - if you have not yet read it, you must.
Viktor Frankl: Man's Search for Meaning
Viktor Frankl was a Viennese psychiatrist who survived Auschwitz and three other Nazi camps, where his parents, brother and pregnant wife perished. Written in nine days and first published in German in 1946, his book has sold more than 16 million copies in 52 languages and remains one of the most influential works of the twentieth century.

The book has two halves. The first is testimony: Frankl's account of camp life, traced through three psychological phases — the shock of arrival, the long apathy of imprisonment, and the disorientation of liberation. He observed that prisoners who clung to a task, a person or a future meaning tended to endure, while those who lost their "why" often died within days. His guiding line, borrowed from Nietzsche: "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how."
The second half expounds logotherapy, his "therapy through meaning." Frankl argues that the primary human drive is not pleasure (Freud) or power (Adler) but the will to meaning. When that will is frustrated, we fall into an existential vacuum — the modern malaise of boredom and emptiness, which he called noogenic neurosis. Meaning, he insists, cannot be invented but must be detected, and it is found in three ways:
- Through work — a task or creative achievement to fulfil.
- Through love — an encounter with another person.
- Through suffering — the attitude one adopts toward unavoidable pain, which can be transformed into an achievement.
The book's enduring claim is stark and consoling: circumstances may bring enormous challenges, but the last of human freedoms is the freedom to choose our attitude in any given set of circumstances. Recall that this echoes exactly the sentiment and wisdom that I have long extolled in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

🛠️ Project Updates
The following are updates from some projects that I am following, supporting and collaborating with. What are you doing?
Remember the 2018 book tour?
You will certainly recall that I have long recommended you read Saifedean's book. Until now I had not seen the talk that he gave on the book's launch back in 2018. This is a Must Listen and do not skip the Q&A at the end.

With eight years of hindsight, you will see that Saifedean was spot-on with pretty much every point. Knowing that, what will you do now, differently? It is never too late to do the right thing.
Reading more
I know that some of you enjoyed last week's update on the upcoming new reading App for Kobo. More and more people are fed up with Amazon and its restrictive, one-sided policies that disfavour readers and authors alike. Kobo is a good alternative and, being an open platform, it encourages developers to make interesting features for all to benefit from.
I recently discovered Nico, and in this video he describes his background and experience and why he is such a prolific contributor to the ecosystem. Listen and enjoy.

I am looking forward to getting hands-on with his new Kobalt reader and will be reporting back once I do. Meanwhile you might want to put what he suggests into practice - I have given you plenty of suggestions.

It's like watching a train-wreck in slow motion
Well, this may or may not be the "Big Thing" that is being made up by the Empire but it certainly will form part of what will surely unfold in the months to come.
First up, Nic surveys the landscape and what he sees is not good. Pretty much everyone should be able to see how the bubble is being inflated and, like all the others, it will burst sooner or later.

Sasha is back from a break and he, too, is not impressed by what is being constructed. In this explainer he takes you through how ridiculous the accounting numbers really are. TLDR: "if we ignore all the costs, we are profitable".

Unfortunately (and obvious to those with eyes to see), recent rule-changes in the US and many other countries mean that pension funds will be required to buy into these Ponzi constructions; likewise many ETFs and index funds will also be buyers ahead of the collapse. You have been warned.
ELI5 - Explain it to me Like I'm 5...
On a separate (but not unrelated) topic, this is an interesting analysis by Jay. You might have missed the publication of that formula but if you take a few minutes to think about it the result should be very clear to you.

What do the stars and planets say?
I would have included this last week but the newsletter was full! Dan is back with another monthly reflection, this time on September with outlook into October and beyond. He begins by reviewing his expectations for September vs what has actually happened - you might be surprised.

As for the October outlook, some will see it is a "statement of the obvious" and others will say that he does not go far enough, but all his reasoning is backed by historical precedents and reasoned explanation. You can check back in a month on how he did with these forecasts - a week into the month and he is already looking quite right.
🤔 Closing Thoughts
I am closing out this week with part one of a book review by Jason. This is a book that he was not aware of until it was sent to him recently by a follower. Written in 1838, it cites dozens of books from 1600's and 1700's that have often been lost, suppressed or squirreled away into private collections - as well as others that Jason has already seen.
The Doctrine of the Deluge by Leveson Vernon Harcourt is an 1838 work that defends the biblical Flood against geological (and uniformitarianism) skepticism. Jason uses this text to support his theories regarding vapour canopies, the Giza pyramids and recurring catastrophic floods throughout human history.
Vernon Harcourt takes us on a journey to the earliest understanding of the Serpent, Eden, the Flood, Typhon and the fear of the month of May, the original date of Samhain on November 1st, the Day of the Dead that in Archaix we have identified with the transit of Nemesis X. These and many more stunning revelations and how the truth was preserved in Ireland. To find all this data in an old book from 1838 after spending the past 20 years showing these secrets from other source materials in Archaix books and videos is profound.

You can read the books yourself: Book 1 here and Book 2 here.
Some of the key insights that you will gain from this include the following. I was intrigued by the Ancient Irish references - something that I have long suspected, but it's good to see references and substantiation.
- The PreFlood World
- Sethites (Shepherd Kings)
- Cainites (Hunter Kings)
- Ancient Irish traditions of the Flood
- Deluge heroes Dardanus and Deucalion
- Ophite Secrets of Typhon
- The Pyramid was Original Ark of Cataclysm
- Jews Changed the Meaning of the Serpent
- Confusing the Ogygian Deluge with the Great Flood
- May (Phoenix) & November (Nemesis X) Both remembered as Death
- No Ancient Zodiac in Books of Moses or Egypt
- Remphan, Moloch & the Black Cube of Pre-Islamic Arabia
- Deeper Reason Why Jews & Muslims Do Not Eat Pork
Jason refers to his original book, The Lost Scriptures of Giza, including all his research on these topics. You can freely download and read it here below.

This is also available as audiobook, read by Jason himself - Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3.
If nothing else, Jason's eloquence and obvious command of all his data and facts ought to give you pause for thought. Let me know your views - happy to discuss.
