228 - Belgians in Belfast
Lagan at Queen's Bridge

🇬🇧 The weather this week has been fairly pleasant. We have fresh mornings, often cloudy at first and then during the day the sun comes out. Temperatures have even been up to 25C at times. We have managed to sit out a few times on our terrace, overlooking the golf course. It's not quite the Palma or Bangkok experience but it is pretty good when the weather is like this!

This coming weekend we have lots on. The Belgians are visiting and V has been busy organising all sorts of activities over the weekend. We will also be celebrating an important family birthday here. Even though Sunday is 12th July, the marches will only be on Monday 13th, so that everyone can go to church on Sunday!

Book of the week

I have a fantastic book to recommend this week. I really did not plan to read this book but once I picked it up I had to keep going - it is so good! From my subsequent research it seems to be one of the most highly rated Science Fiction books ever. From my perspective, considering it was written in 1989 the foresight and prescience of what he wrote is spectacular. If you believed in predictive programming you could think of other explanations. Remember, there are no coincidences.

Hyperion - Dan Simmons
Dylan describes how interest in science fiction was sparked by a friend’s recommendation of A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter Miller, which led him to discover the Hugo Award — the most prestigious literary award in science fiction, named after Hugo Gernsback, one of the fathers of the genre. * The

Interview and article of the week

In recent months I have been sharing a few of Dan's insights and expectations with you. I know that some (many?) of you will think that Astrology is nonsense but I do encourage you to listen to this excellent discussion with Greg Carlwood. Dan addresses such skepticism head-on and from my own research I can confirm that there is more to see here than you may have imagined.

Dan Waits and Greg
1. Mystics Dying at Major Conjunctions Dan observes a pattern where prominent mystics and magicians die during significant planetary conjunctions — “seed moments” that initiate new cycles: * Madame Blavatsky died in 1891 during a rare Pluto–Neptune conjunction (these occur every ~500 years) * Aleister Crowley died in 1947 during a Saturn–

Like Dan, I see the way in which mainstream propaganda disparages Astrology (with daily nonsense in newspapers) is just a technique that they use to keep you from looking deeper. In this excellent interview (and article below) you have the opportunity to look deeper with an expert guide - I suggest you seize the opportunity - you can thank me later.

🛠️ Project Updates

A little bit of a mid-year review on the project front. I am rather pleased by the progress that I have made this year in sovereign computing - both with laptops that I use in each location running Linux and also with servers that I run around the world. What are you doing?

Your own servers

There is something immensely satisfying in running your own servers. These computers may be ones that you rent in a data center somewhere or they may be as simple as a laptop that you configure with some extra encrypted disks and leave running with a friend in a distant country. I do both of these options.

The achievement that I am most pleased with was getting more than 500,000 photographs out of Google Photos and into my own Immich server that I run giving me access to all photos with a superbly useful interface. It really is a good replacement for Google Photos - Google no longer has your data.

The next achievement was to get email out of Gmail. This was also a significant undertaking since I had my google account from 2005 and some 15 GB of mail. This too is now outside Google's reach. There is no reason why The Empire should have my data.

Switching to Linux for project and daily work

I really have switched most of my daily work to Linux and I love it. Yes V and I do still have MacBooks but for me they are secondary and I use them for specific purposes - a bit like Foci. You would do well to listen to his 9-month progress report - it is a rather good, honest assessment.

Foci is right - most people are fed up with Big Tech and rightly so

I am pretty certain that getting and using older computers and will become increasingly popular going forward - as TechLead pointed out last week. Excellent second-hand (or refurbished) corporate PCs (eg Lenovo or Dell) can be picked up for around ÂŁ200 - indeed I picked up another one this week in Belfast and I also installed Linux on my 15 year-old MacBook Air and both run brilliantly. These machines now have a new lease of life and I have the enjoyment of superb screen and keyboard! Compare this with upwards of ÂŁ1,500 for a new computer running Big Tech monitoring and control software and these laptops look seriously interesting!

Forks ahead - you have been warned

From all that we have been discussing, you should understand the need for, and importance of, hard money that really works. Bitcoin (and Monero) are the strongest contenders for this and there is room for them both. Obviously both are under attack from The Empire and have been for many years.

As always, The Empire is betting on all the horses in the race and funding both sides of every conflict, just like they have done in the 20th century and ongoing wars. We have witnessed many attacks recently, all of which are intended to cause FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) if they do not fully succeed.

The latest attack is the two upcoming forks of bitcoin during August. These have been long in preparation. Most likely they will fail and Bitcoin will be stronger as a result (this is the Lindy effect). That said, the attacks will continue.

Forks in August
As background and introductions, read this excellent article by Jimmy Song. On Overconfidence 1. BIP-110 “Reduced Data Temporary Soft-fork” (RDTS) — early August 2026 * Author: Dathon Ohm (draft proposed December 2025) * Activation window: Mandatory signaling begins at block 961,632 (estimated August 7, 2026), running through block 963,647

Keep in mind:

  • Bitcoin forks historically fail to gain meaningful traction (Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin SV, etc.) and developers have explicitly warned that the eCash airdrop should not be treated as "free money"
  • Splitting forked coins is risky — using a "coin-splitter" tool exposes your private keys and BTC to potential theft. Never enter seed phrases into untrusted software.
  • BIP-110 is technically a soft fork but the very low miner support and mandatory-signaling enforcement mechanism make an actual chain split a real possibility — worth watching closely around August 7.
  • Timelines are block-height-based, not date-based, so the "August" estimates can shift if block production deviates from the ~10-minute average.

Something completely different

If you take a few minutes to think about how things used to be and things that you have been told as history and you compare the evidence with what you see around you today you should feel some cognitive dissonance. Consider this painting by Jan van Eyck from 1435 - you might consider that a primitive time, but you would be very wrong.

Do you see it yet? Click to know more

Among other things, this painting features:

  • Extreme microscopic realism, including discernable gold threads and tactile textures, rendered in a space smaller than a coin.
  • A background depicting a detailed cityscape, identified as Autun, showcasing advanced mastery of atmospheric perspective and water reflections.
  • Complex architectural carvings and symbolic flora, such as Lilies and Irises, provide theological context regarding human sin, redemption, and purity.
Animal symbolism is employed throughout the work, with crushed rabbits representing the defeat of lust and Peacocks symbolizing immortality.

Jan van Eyck utilized sophisticated underpainting techniques and translucent oil layering that demonstrated an advanced, unexplained understanding of light and optics that we are told only became known centuries later and which painters today cannot master.

TechLead is back!

TechLead has been away for quite a few months. During the time away he was humbled somewhat by crypto trading that he was doing and promoting. You should be well aware that I see all forms of crypto trading to be gambling and speculation, aimed at exploiting the "Greater Fool" - very different from owning and using Bitcoin and Monero as money.

That said, he is very intelligent and articulate and his insights into the ongoing developments in Big Tech and their implications are well worth listening to. I am not endorsing his paid community but his insights are valuable.

Consider this one a "wake up call". He is right on all the points he makes.

Wake up - think about it

For the first time in modern history, a fresh college degree makes you more likely to be unemployed than the average. Furthermore, 42% of graduates who did find work are in jobs that never required a degree. This is the highest underemployment since the plandemic. He argues nothing is broken; the system is "working exactly as designed" — it just quietly stopped being designed for you.

Understand the situation and what you can do about it

This is a pretty damning assessment, but he does suggest some realistic and practical options to consider going forward. So - what do you think? Is he right? What, if anything, will you do differently now?

đź’ˇ
If it is in the news - it is a ruse. There are no coincidences.

🤔 Closing Thoughts

A few weeks ago I shared with you the excellent book by Acharya S (aka Dianna Muirhead). I am well aware that this was a contentious topic and some of you may well still be annoyed or irritated.

However, just like with the Covid Crimes, ignoring the evidence and the truth does not take you forward. Jason's explainer below tells his own awakening story and he presents clearly the definitive collection of evidence. You decide:

Crucifixion of the Typhonian
Overview This is a lengthy YouTube presentation by Jason of Archaix. The core thesis is that the Gospel story of Jesus is literary rather than literal history — a composite of earlier Greek, Egyptian, and Gnostic traditions — and that the Church of Rome deliberately “carnalised” (made physical) what was originally a

Likely the last word on this - the definitive collection of evidence and explanation

Upcoming book review in sight

You might have spotted (in the photos above) that since I am back in Belfast I was able to pick up my copy of "From Jesus to Romeo and Juliet and Beyond" by Cassandra Wise. This is another in the book haul that I picked up from Truth University Press but it was delivered after I left in May. I'll be reading this in the weeks ahead and this certainly links with this topic and other material that I have been looking into around Shakespeare and related personalities.
